About the Business
Group Director, Stephen Groves has lived and worked in and around the area of Urmston all his life, having being 'born and bred' in Davyhulme where better to start your own business. After gaining experience and thriving within corporate estate agency for nearly 10 years opening his own agency was the next step for Stephen. Having owned and experienced the successful running his own estate and letting agency since November 2007, when the property market was a completely different proposition, the decision to acquire a larger and more prominent office along with a more fresh and modern brand was taken and this is where Home Estate Agents was born.
Along with Group Director Stephen Groves, Home Estate Agents has two further joint directors.

Stephen Groves - Group Director
EmailOur Group Director Stephen Groves initially started his career in Estate Agency over 12 years ago and quickly decided this was the industry for him. After learning the basics with a corporate estate agency he was quickly promoted to a valuer and after that was made Branch Manager of one of their offices. The results from his office grew and grew which made other companies approach Stephen for his services. Five years past and Stephen’s office which covered a 15 mile radius was market leader but the urge to channel his energy into his own company was too strong. Stephen's became the reality of opening his own agency when he acquired the company.
Steve Peck - Joint Director
Stratford, East LondonHaving known and been a close friend of Stephen since starting Wellacre High school in Flixton some 15 years ago, Steve has owned and managed various local businesses in both Urmston and Stretford including a highly successful building contractors and project management company covering the northwest. When the time came to invest in a growing company Stephen knew who to call. Having some 20 years independent business and building experience Steve offers a different aspect to the industry sometimes never seen by others. Working closely with his team in Stretford, Steve and the office are quickly making ways to being a market leader in the area.
Nick Braiden - Joint Director

Stephen employed Nick for the role of Trainee Negotiator whilst still working for a corporate agency nearly 10 years ago. In an extremely competitive office environment Nick flourished and quickly became a top salesman within the company. Normally that would be enough in itself but Nick’s passion for high quality customer service is where he differs from many people within the industry.
