Hose Rhodes Dickson was formed in Ventnor in 1990 by Jeff Hose and Mark Rhodes. Richard Dickson joined the firm two years later and from there the partnership has grown. With the addition of MarcusWaldron and Jamie Busby there is now a total of five partners who, along with the three associate partners, all bring different skills and attributes to the business.
The "Fox" name has been associated with estate agency since 1868, when Anthony Stoddart Fox opened a branch of Fox and Sons in Bournemouth. Over the next century, Fox and Sons expanded over the wholeof the south of England and in the mid 1980's came to the Isle of Wight. Since the start of the new millennium, the Isle of Wight offices of Fox Estate Agents have been owned by Simon Wratten, and in 2007 fellow Islander Rachael Harvey joined the board of directors.
