Established in 2001, the Borders Solicitors Property Centre (BSPC) is the largest local network of property agents, with 20 independent member firms operating from 33 offices conveniently located throughout the region. BSPC's member firms are well known and widely respected within their own areas of operation, in some instances for more than 100 years. Each office is run by an experienced team of property professionals and headed by a qualified solicitor who, in turn, is governed by a strict professional code of conduct laid down by the Law Society of Scotland. These are all local people, who live and work in the area and have in-depth knowledge of the local property market, which can be very different from the general trend so often reported in the media for the country as a whole. Coming together in all property-related matters enables BSPC member firms to benefit from a far greater combined strength - strength that is most evident in its pro-active marketing.
